Chris Putman is a convert to the landscape of the American Southwest.  He was raised in Alaska by parents that instilled a great love                          of the outdoors; be it spending the afternoon on a hike or enjoying the weekend camping and fishing in one of Alaska’s many coastal towns. 

           Chris has lived many places in the United States including Alaska, Alabama, Nevada, California, and now Utah.  All of these places                          have given him the opportunity to see the beauty of this great land, but none has inspired him as much as the American Southwest, and                    especially Utah. 

            After graduating from high school Chris served an LDS mission in the Nevada area.  Chris returned to Alaska for a short                                        time then moved to Logan, Utah to pursue a college degree at Utah State University.  While here in Cache Valley Chris met Konae Moss, and after               much persuasion on his part, they were married in September of 2003.

            Since being married Chris and Konae have spent countless hours together discovering the many wonders of this state and                                      the surrounding areas; from an afternoon up Logan canyon, weekends in southern Utah, or week long trips to the Yellowstone and Teton areas.

            Chris has a passion for the natural world and the beauty that we are able to enjoy on a daily basis.  He takes every opportunity                                   to grab his gear and capture this beauty through the lens.  Just within the past few years Chris has displayed his pieces for all to enjoy.
